Profile & settings
Your account basics live in the Settings tab. From there you can manage:
- Display name: the name shown across your account. Editable any time.
- Email: shown for reference but read-only here; it is the address you sign in with.
- Password: change it from the same screen.
- Role badge: tells you whether you are the Owner of the account or an Assistant (VA) invited to help. Owners control the plan and billing; assistants work within the permissions the owner grants. See Team & VAs.
Plans & tiers
FluidTalk has four tiers: Free, Pro, Agency and Enterprise. Each tier sets your resource caps, how much credit you get each month, and what a typical conversation costs. Prices are shown billed monthly; choosing yearly you get 2 months free.

Your balance is real money. A conversation simply costs the AI usage at your plan's rate, shown in dollars. The plan comparison in your Settings tab has a Monthly / Yearly toggle and highlights your current plan.
Upgrade & top-up are placeholders for now
The Upgrade, Downgrade and Top up tokens buttons are visible but inactive until self-serve payments launch. To change a plan or add tokens in the meantime, contact support.
What a conversation costs
The bigger your plan, the cheaper every conversation. Higher tiers pull the typical cost of each chat down, so the more you scale, the less every conversation costs you. The figures below are typical, estimated costs for a 50-message, text-only conversation. Photo-heavy chats cost more.

Subscription lifecycle
Your plan shows a status badge in Settings. The statuses mean:
- Active: your plan is current and all entitlements apply.
- Trial: you are on a time-limited trial of a plan; full entitlements apply until the trial end date.
- Grace: the term just ended, but you still have full access for a short grace window so you can renew without interruption. You will see a warning banner.
- Lapsed: the plan ended and the grace window passed, so the account has fallen back to Free.
- Cancelled: the plan was cancelled; the account is on Free. A hard cancel skips the grace window.
Tokens & credits
Conversations are powered by tokens held in your account wallet. Your current balance is shown in Settings and in the token chip in the app.
- What costs tokens: every conversation, whether it is a live conversation through the API handshake or a run in the built-in simulator. A conversation is charged once.
- How much: what a conversation costs depends on your plan's rate: a typical 50-message chat is about $0.10 on Free, $0.08 on Creator, $0.07 on Agency, $0.06 on Scale and $0.05 on Enterprise.
- Monthly included tokens: paid plans add a credit allowance each month equal to the plan price ($99 on Creator, $299 on Agency, $799 on Scale, $1990 on Enterprise). Free includes none, so you would top up to chat.
- Low-balance & out-of-tokens banners: the app warns you when your balance runs low, and shows an out-of-tokens state when you hit zero.
- Transaction history: every debit and credit is listed so you can see exactly where tokens went.
- Promo codes: have a code? Redeem it from the token area to add credits to your wallet. Each code can be redeemed once per account.
Storage
Each plan includes a storage quota for your persona photos and other assets. 100 MB on Free, 5 GB on Pro, and 50 GB on Elite. Settings shows a usage meter so you can see how much of your quota is in use at a glance.
When a plan ends, you drop to Free
If your plan lapses or is cancelled, the account falls back to Free. Live serving pauses: your bots stop replying, and any resources over the Free limits (extra personas, engines and API keys) are locked, not deleted. Your data is kept; everything is restored the moment you re-subscribe. Free is for building and testing only, not for live traffic. See Going live.
Out of tokens blocks new conversations
When your wallet hits zero, new conversations are blocked until you top up or your monthly allowance refreshes. Conversations already in flight are allowed to finish.
Limit enforcement is rolling out
Enforcement of plan caps, downgrade locks and the live-serving gate is being rolled out gradually. The numbers above are the plan limits; some accounts may not yet see every limit enforced.
